Optical Glass and Glass for Electronics

A variety of properties and functions are required of optical glass. Hoya presently manufactures more than 100 varieties of optical glass using a proprietary production system that covers all stages in the glassmaking process. All of Hoya's optical glass varieties can be considered E-glass (environmental glass) because they contain no harmful components such as lead or arsenic.
