This year’s 2018 FABTECH industry event will be held November 6-8 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Widely recognized as the country’s premier metalforming and fabricating event, FABTECH 2018 will feature current and emerging technologies from more than 1,500 exhibitors. United Lens Company (ULC) returns to FABTECH this year, and our representatives will provide attendees with free Debris Shield Kits at Booth #B9722 in Hall B.
Since its founding in 1981, FABTECH excelled in connecting industry-leading companies and educators with attendees from all over the US and the world. FABTECH 2018 takes place in three separate areas within the Georgia World Congress Center: Hall A (Metalforming, Fabricating and Forming, Welding), Hall B (Finishing and Forming, Additive Manufacturing), and Hall C (Welding, Tubing & Piping).

Other Notable Additions to FABTECH
This year’s event introduces the Smart Manufacturing Hub, which is able to prominently display company presentations on a daily basis. Top companies such as Microsoft, Desktop Metal, Acieta, and Stratasys will showcase their advanced manufacturing technologies—automation, robotics, 3D printing, Internet of Things (IoT), and much more.
FABTECH 2018 also features a newly enhanced 3D/Additive Manufacturing Pavilion. The Pavilion will include “Ask the Experts,” an intimate group education session that allows industry leaders to give specific answers to the challenges of 3D/additive manufacturing processes.
Additionally, FABTECH will provide attendees with over 130 in-depth education sessions (both new and returning) on several industrial topics. This year’s new education sessions include Revolutionizing 3D Additive Manufacturing, Roadmap to Smart Manufacturing Transformation, Integrated Solutions for Industrial Automation, and Next Generation Laser Cutting Technology.
