I wish they made thinner and lighter blanks like Newport Glass Works used to. Most astronomers don’t need those backbreaking blanks.
The 12.5″ is a good example. ULC could sell full thickness and a line of thinner ones. I’m sure they’d get quite a few orders for the thinner ones.
